Tailoring

What started out as a hobby, has turned into part of my design practice. I am able to design and produce garments of professional quality, and currently working on getting formal diplomas.

I already passed the Textile Expertise exam (MBO 3 level), which shows I am knowledgeable on sourcing textiles and their materials, as well as their production processes.

Costume Waffenrock

I was asked to design a 16th century German “waffenrock”, a garment worn by merchenaries at the time. The garment, as well as the shirt and shorts, are custom tailored to the man in the picture.

The design and pattern were made from scratch using multiple techniques. The garment is completely lined. Finished April 2020
